Project:
Sabato Magazine
Description:
Redesign and consultancy for Belgium’s premier newspaper supplement.
Information:
We were recently approached to redesign Sabato magazine. Sabato is the weekly luxury magazine of Belgium’s leading business newspapers De Tijd and L’Echo. Every Saturday, Sabato offers unique reports for some of Belgium’s most influential readers with a passion for design and quality. The magazine’s editorial team wanted a fresh look and a new perspective. We looked at all aspects of the magazine during the consultancy process. A new format, logotype, grids and typography system were devised. Alongside this we also re-appraised the approach to imagery in the magazine. Our studio supplied a robust yet flexible design system that will allow the in-house team to develop the design direction over the coming years.

'Hunting’s editorial decisions were intelligently led by simplicity and space, creating a tone that is indeed luxurious but not excessive, instead remaining stark and clean without being cold and unfriendly.'
